Update on my husband

I would like to take a minute to thank everyone for your prayers for me and my husband. I'm sorry I didn't answer every post. As you know I have been at the hospital. Bob still remains in intensive care and is still in alot of pain. I am hoping they will move him to a regular room tomorrow. He is acting really strange due to the pain meds. I asked him where he was today and he said he was at Debbie's. I told him he was in the hospital and that he had surgery and he said. That's right. He also told the nurse he wasn't allowed to watch T.V. because the Dr. told him he couldn't. He was pulling at lines tonight so I won't be surprised if they have him tied down tomorrow. Anyone that knows my husband knows he is very active and willing to help anyone. Even though he walks with a walker it never kept him off ladders and roofs to help someone. He is asking lots of questions that are just off the wall. I told Debbie now is the time to ask him anything for he will surely tell the truth. It is so strange seeing him this way. Thanks again all. Dineen, Thanks for all your prayers. My husband remains in the hospital. They tried yesterday to feed him thru his feeding tube but it is leaking. They are doing test today to find out why. He is given feedings thru the port. They are trying to get some weight on him. He did eat some liquids but he really has no will to eat. I had to feed him and he didn't like it. He is angry and says he wants to die and I won't let him. This is really hard at this time but I will get thru. I know I have to do what I have to and I will. See you lighter. Joanne

Elissa, I thought he was coming home Saturday but I'm not sure now until they do the test they are doing today. I still have to be trained on the feeding tube.I was going for that today but it was canceled due to the tube leaking. They are back to feeding thru the port. He will have a visiting nurse when he does come home. He knows her very well and really likes her . Thanks for all your prayers. When I am able I will be up to a meeting and give all a real hug.
