OT: The offer!

Yes...they are making me an offer for the job! I got confirmation that the package is in the mail to me! They told me two weeks for decision....I was soooo surprised to get confirmation in three days! That was quick. I must have done really well! I can't wait to see what they offer...whatever it is I am sure it will be good. I am ready for the change! Thanks to all of you for rooting for me! Now I have to come up with a way to still take care of my Gram. I hope I don't have to turn this down..... Debbie

Debbie, I am so glad for you. It really makes my day to hear your good news. Have you checked with programs thru social services to help with Grammy ? You might want to check. I'm sure there is a program we just don't know about. It doesn't hurt to ask. Take THAT JOB !!!!!! See you lighter. Joanne

Joanne, When they are hospice bound Social Services won't do anything. I got shot down before I went any further...now if she was okay they would have given me the world. Its amazing as soon as they know your time is limited the door shuts. Debbie

Debbie, I am so sorry to hear about the closed doors. I know it really makes you sick for it sure does me. My husband is in intensive care at Beebe.He had surgery yesterday to get the port and feeding tube put in. This morning he was admitted thru E.R. and had emergency surgery. His intestine was nicked and putting air in his body. He was in so much pain and couldn't breath. He had to go by ambulance because I couldn't get him out of bed due to him losing his breath. The dr. said to do alot of praying for he has alot working against him with the cancer and low weight along with other health problems. Please keep him in your prayers. I will be praying for you both. Its definitely a hard ride but remember you have buddies to give you words of encouragement. I hope things work out for your husband and he does not suffer. YEAHHHHH!!! You sooo deserve a great job. I hope the offer is decent. Even if it's not, you are so ready for a positive change. All will work out. Don't know how, I just know it will. Looks like I will be working 4 days a week for awhile. If the other girl ever comes back I'll be looking for more days. I do love working and being busy and the money isn't hard to take either. LOL. I am soooooooo excited for you. You deserve a change. I hope they offer what you want. I just found out that my job is being downsized at the end of the month. I am leaving on a cruise on Saturday and I am not going to think about it until I get back. Something will work out...it always does. When one window is closed another door is opened.
