Love Your relatives!!!!!!

This week I got a kick in the face when one of my cousins stopped in to see me. She told me how good I looked and said she had to see me for herself because one of my other relatives told her how old I looked now. She was told I really lost alot of weight but I looked so old for my age. Well guess what I'll take old and healthy anyday over fat and on disability. That is where I was headed and I refused to go there, ( Where this relative is). I hope I don't offend anyone but hey I would rather someone to tell me to my face if they think I look bad !!!! This really erked me !!!!! I am the youngest of 6 obese kids and 3 were on disability and 2 dead at the time of my surgery. It was not one of my siblings this came from. If I look so bad why has 3 other people in my family had the surgery and 2 more checking into it since I had mine? Let me tell you I will hold my head up high and be proud. No one will tear me down!!!! I am proud to say I am 52 and don't have fat filling in the wrinkles in my face anymore. So to this relative : STUFF IT !!!! I knew I would have haters as we all do but I know I have more supporters and that's what counts. Sorry I just had to vent !!!! See all lighter. Joanne

Aunt Jo, You know this person is a piece of **** anyway. I don't think you look old at all. I personally think you look great and I do beleive considering the source she is alot jealous over you.Don't let the b@tch's comment even or ever effect you because no one else in the family has said anything negative and she is just plain ass jealous over you. One thing for sure she will be dead and gone before you. If her disability don't get her maybe aids will. ( you know what I mean by that). That is right keep the head up and if I had a choice between old looking and healthy I would take healthy anyday. You also have to consider the choice and remember you can change the old looking but she just can't do a dam thing about being ugly. With comments like that.. just shows just how ugly she really is and trust me she will have her day. God has a way of paying back for being evil. I just think she is just so jealous. Patte, I knew that wasn't sweet Vanessa with them Angry words !!!! Funny how you knew who the person was without me mentioning her name. I know you have my back and alot of other family members too. I just hate when someone smiles in your face and talks about you behind your back (Especially while wearing your clothes). I will continue to smile and only pray for her!! You know my saying " God Don't Like Ugly" Ok !!!!!! Who are we adding? I got Me, Ralph, you, James, Ethel and Debbie. Hopefully Flo and Vanessa. Yeppers you are my partner in cime and I am happy to say that. Vanessa is going to go with me to the Dr on june 11 and we are going to see if we can start the process she has to be 18. Juanita is also thinking about and I thought Annette was going to do the lapband or was thinking about.

Trish, I forgot about Annette. You are right !!! She is having Lap Band so she is # 7. That will make Vanessa and Juanita # 8 and # 9. Flo might make # 10. Let's go for a dozen. Hey! Think about it !!! We might go to a family reunion someday and be surprised at what we see. Skinny people !!!!! Where did they come from ? They will think we are the long lost relatives. LOL!!!! Joanne, It's difficult at best when these things are said and even more difficult when it comes from a relative. Someone who we would expect to positively support us through thick and thin. You have done an awesome job and look marvelous! So I encourage you to take this negative and focus it into the positive in your life. pfffft on him/her. Love ya! Gigee (ps. Gigee, Take your time with the pictures. There is no hurry. I appreciate you doing it. After all I am growing old gracefully with a better life since surgery!!!!!! O.K. you want to know the positive !!!! I get a big smile every time I see this relative and she is wearing a piece of my old clothing. I truely beleive in Kill Them With Kindness. I truely wish them good health but just wish they would help themselves to get it. You know take care of your own home before you talk about someone else. They Don't Get It !!! Poor Them!!! Lisa, I promise to not let them get me down. I will laugh at this for years to come. I smile everytime I look at my young fat pictures and beleive me I have many of them. I have done more in the last 16 months then I have done in 40 years or more of Morbid Obesity. You take care too. See you lighter. Joanne
