Gall Bladder Issues?
Last night I had the most excruciating pain I've ever felt. It was in my abdomen, and radiated into my back, and it lasted for about an hour. Today my upper right abdomen is tender and every time I eat or drink anything I'm nauseous. I've also been fatigued for about three days. I suspect I'm having issues with my gall bladder. I have an appointment with my PCP at 4:00 today, I'll post again as soon as I know anything.

Joni,
You might want to give your surgeon a call. They can rule out what is going on maybe a little better than a PCP. When I had pain like that it was an immediate admission and surgery. The doc's will definitely want to know what is going on. They will follow us for as long as we need them to with anything that is in the abdomen region. Just my suggestion, but whatever you do, don't mess around with it, especially since you travel alot.\
Hope all is well,
God bless,
Pastor Faye
Hi Joni,
I had the same symptoms and had to have my gallbladder removed on 7/11/06 by Dr. Irgau. The surgery was done laproscopically so it was similar to the WLS. As Pastor Faye recommended you may want to contact your surgeon for any problems experienced in the abdominal area post op since the surgeons can better detect certain abdominal issues in their patients because of their experience in that area. Take care and hope all goes well.
