A COUPLE WOW MOMENTS AND A FUNNY STORY...
Hello Delaware, I am so excited I had to share a few wow moments that I recently have had and a funny story. Since I decided to have the surgery last Sept I kind of became a hermit, just because I need to focus on the changes and challenges that were ahead of me. I use to go out every weekend and was not happy because of my weight, so I stopped going. I always felt like everyone was staring at me and that made me feel uncomfortable. Well this past weekend I went back out dancing and boy did I have an awesome time. I love to country line dance so Friday I went to Just Mugs on Rt 40 and saw people that haven't seen me since Nov, and everyone was shocked and complimented me on how good I look. I got up and danced and didn't care if they were staring at me or not. I was looking good and feeling better. I was able to dance a full dance and not get winded and I danced as many dances as I knew and it felt WONDERFUL!!!!
On Sunday afternoon I went to see another band that I use to follow and the lead singer walked right by and didn't say a word to me, so I spoke up and he looked at me and was shocked to see me. Later that evening he told me that he didn't even recogize me and whatever I had been doing to keep it up because I look fabulous. There were about 20 people there that afternoon that knew me and everyone made me feel so good about myself. I was walking around like a pea**** with my feathers open for all to see....lol. Again I was out on the dance floor dancing and having a great time. I even had a few men look my way and smile and say HI to me, that hasn't happened in years.
Now for the funny story, I joined the YMCA last week, I felt I needed more choices on equipment and they have the pool. Well last night I decided I would take their CORE Challenge class and boy did I make a fool of myself....lol. All I could do was laugh at myself. If the she said right I was going left, if she said up I would go down. It was like that for almost an hour. She would say ok now try this and I would just laugh and think not in this lifetime.....lol. I was able to do push ups with the ball under my thighs, I was quite impressed with that, because I didn't think that was possible either.
I know this is long but I had to share this with you. I am down 71lbs since 2/1 and I love my new life. It is the best thing that I could have ever done for myself.
Have a great day.

Hi Debbie, I am working on that one. I need to get my home computer up and running again. I even have a new hair style, which according to everyone who has seen me with it looks great on me, which is still very hard for me to hear. I have been so low on self esteem these last few years that it is very hard to hear good things about myself. I have even started to wear make up again...lol, which I stopped doing also. Hopefully I will be able to show off my new look next month at the support group meetings.
Have a great day and continued luck with Gram.
