Plastic Surgery Question

I am having a belt lipectomy done in August and would like to know if anyone else out there has had one done. Who did it? What was the recovery like? Did it meet your expectations? I'm a little, okay, a lot nervous. Even more than for my original surgery so I want to get as much input as possible.

I can't really help you with your question. I had a panniculectomy and hernia repair. I had 11 pounds of excess skin removed. I don't know anything about the belt lipectomy. Keep us posted! Jean

Hmmm... I haven't heard of that procedure either. I had a panniculectomy done and it was a complete disaster. Not to discourage anyone but the surgeon who did my panni. left me with a lot of scarring and a belly button that is on my bikini line. It's not pretty I was put through a hell that continues today. I wish that I would have waited. I think it is one of the reasons that I am having so many problems today, years later! Let me know about your procedure.... Hope all goes well for you!!

Hi Theresa, I had a lower body lift, thighplasty, facelift, and breast lift with implants aal on July 5, 2006. The main concern that I am noticing with the lbl has been the the incision at the but crack, seems like a lot of people have trouble with oozing and that area opening up.
