Note from Kenn Miller

Dear Friends, I am trying to get a feel for this idea i am throwing out there and if everyone would shoot me back an email with their input i would greatly appreciate it. Since i am having some difficulties logging back into obesity.com web site i am just emailing those of you who i have email addresses for, so if you like to pass this along to others thats fine. I now have a Air Conditioned Hall at my disposal through my Catering Business and its located near St Anthony's Church on Howland Street. It's a Private club, but the room i have access to is seperated and private from the rest. There is a Playground with Basket Ball Courts across the Street, and a Parking Lot nearby. Now, we can do one of several things, either ask everyone to bring a small covered dish like we did last year. Or we can ask everyone to contribute a flat fee and i with the help of others prepare a nice buffet style meal, with the same theme of a picnic in mind, i can do Hamburgers, Hotdogs just like we did at the 1st Picnic. All i am obligated to do since i use this club hall is pay $2.00 per person. The hall holds 150 Comfortably close to 200 if need be. I am going to get in touch with Dr Wynn's Office to see if they are interested in sponsoring this again, perhaps they can cover the $2 per person and some other things, maybe perhaps a Dj or Juke Box for entertainment etc.. I havent made a decision to anything yet including a date, but the good thing it's inside, I would welcome any and all suggestions but the sooner the better, we need to make a date that doesnt conflict with the weekends i have parties booked their already.
