Letting you know
Dear Friends,
Just to let you know that there will be a meeting at Victory this Tuesday night at 7 p.m. The last one we had was really great. The turn-out was wonderful and we hope to see many of you back this week. The topic will be WATER !!!!!!
Some of you weren't there last month and we missed you. Come and see who gets the STAR OF THE MONTH TROPHY. I was it this month (kinda out of default, because the real recipient wasn't there) but it has really meant alot to me this month. I needed to know that I was thought of. (Thanks Debbie Cox)
On another note: Very tragic information that I am sure that many of you already are aware of. In reference to the disappearance of Tammy Gardner this week. She is (was) my cousin. This has and still is very hard on our family. Although Tammy and I haven't been close recently it is amazing how quickly family relationships get re-established when someone is hurting. Please continue to pray for Scott, Merideth and Kyle as they have to make some very difficult transitions. Pat, her brother needs special prayer. He was practically raised by Tammy when their parents died at a young age. They were extremely close. I'm doing ok, although it is very difficult to realize that this sort of thing can happen so close to home. We are in the middle of a big production at church that is reaching hundreds of people each night. The production is entitled, "Murder, What's Next?
Little did I know that we would be facing it in our own family.
So thanks for the prayers.
Hope to see you Tuesday night.
God Bless,
Pastor Faye
I knew you needed that STAR! I am sorry to hear all the sadness in your family right now. I do know even with sadness there is something bright that will shine and give you strength if you look for it. It is there sometimes we don't see it.
I would really love to make it to a meeting but I don't think I can right now. We are in decline mode....I am tired and sick which is another lethal combination. My Gram has a lot of night problems.
Keep that star shining bright and pass it along to someone that is just as deserving of that award as you are! You have done alot for this community! I am very proud to have someone like you on my side!
Hugs and Fleece Blankets

Thinking and praying for your family and the families of the two victims. I had been reading about them all week and praying for their return. Such a tragedy.
I took my boys to see "Murder, What's Next?"in the wintertime - very powerful. I was truly moved by the reaction of the people after the performance. What an awesome job everyone did with this production.
