Thanks
Hi Mary...........we had surgery the same day, except that I gastric bypass. I didnt have the gas; however, I did have horrible diarrhea and naseau until Tuesday!!!! I was miserable over the weekend, and I kind of felt like myself on Wednesday. I still am dizzy though, I dont know why. Anyway, hang in there......it should pass! Take care....shaughnessy

Hi Thank you for the reply. I was researching old forums and apparently it could be related to all the protein drinks. Each day gets better and better.
I glad you are doing better I hope the dizziness goes away. Take care Mary
Mary, Welcome to the Looser's bench. Yes, gas will be a normal part of your new life. The protein has a lot to do with it. How are you feeling otherwise? Getting in the protein & the liquids okay? Have you been able to do any walking since you got home? It also helps the gas and just about everything else too. Keep up the good job. ((HUGS)) Elissa

Hi! I just wanted to drop a little note and thank you for the support. My gas issue has decreased. My 2 week post -op visit lost 18 lbs. Yippee! One more week of liguids. But to be honest I have been having mushies/soft foods (Ricotta cheese 1x a day. roughly a 1/4 cup) I'm drinking fluids and exercising. thanks Mary
