I have a serious question. I have been eaten what I think is a lot of fruit. Peaches, Oranges, Pineapples, Cherries and Bananas, how much are we permitted to eat in a given day. I am worried about the natural sugar and carbs involved in them. I had surgery 18 months ago and lost 165 pounds so I am a little under goal. However I do not want to gain any back or I do not want to dump off of the sugar. Please advise.............. Thanx Joy

Joy I'm not sure that I am an expert in this field, but I understand that you can eat fruit. There are a lot of calories and carbs in fruit, beware. If they were to make you dump, then you would know this by now, if you are eating a lot of fruit. Like any food, moderation is the key. If there is a choice between one more banana or a candy bar, of course the banana is the wisest choice. Consult your doc or nutritionist for more concrete answers. I'm sure there are a lot of others that can be more specific than I have been. Also, I do remember the nutritionist advising against juice due to the amount of calories in it, and stating that if you truly need the orange juice, it is better to eat the orange instead. Hope this helps. Dianne NO Day 47
