I'm Baaack Home...
Well, finallly my lapband dream came true and I am banded...YAY!!! Now, on the down side, I didn't realize I was going to be so sore. I have had surgeries before and I don't remember hurting so much. I had to sleep in the recliner and I didn't get too much sleep because my kitty decided to jump up on my belly several times while I was asleep. I am feeling a little better now because I have some pain meds in my system. My alarm didn't go off early this morning and I was 2 hours past my next dose and I could feel it.
Well, I know everyday will get a little better. I can't wait to feel like my old self again...actually I will be feeling like my NEW self Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I will post some more later.

Robyn, Congratulations and welcome to the losing side. I know how excited you have to be. I am glad everything went well for you. The pain will go away more and more everyday. I can relate to the cat jumping up on you, my kitty thought I was her own personal cat bed. Try to get some walking in, that will help get things moving again.
Congratulations again and I wish you great weight loss success.

I've been hoping to see an update from you. Glad it went well. I too had several previous surgeries and I think we just forget the pain we were in. I've been wondering what to do with my yorkie that thinks she is a cat and is always jumping and laying on me! Keep us informed on your progress. I will be having my banding done on the 25th and it helps to hear from the "other side" keep up the good work. Denise
