Well, finallly my lapband dream came true and I am banded...YAY!!! Now, on the down side, I didn't realize I was going to be so sore. I have had surgeries before and I don't remember hurting so much. I had to sleep in the recliner and I didn't get too much sleep because my kitty decided to jump up on my belly several times while I was asleep. I am feeling a little better now because I have some pain meds in my system. My alarm didn't go off early this morning and I was 2 hours past my next dose and I could feel it. Well, I know everyday will get a little better. I can't wait to feel like my old self again...actually I will be feeling like my NEW self Thanks for all the prayers and well wishes. I will post some more later. Robyn

Robyn, Congratulations and welcome to the losing side. I know how excited you have to be. I am glad everything went well for you. The pain will go away more and more everyday. I can relate to the cat jumping up on you, my kitty thought I was her own personal cat bed. Try to get some walking in, that will help get things moving again. Congratulations again and I wish you great weight loss success. Deanna

Yay!!!! Congrats and welcome home!!! It's been 9 months since my surgery, and I hardly remember the pain, so it will definitely get better with time. Just take it slow and easy, and do what the docs tell you and you'll be fine!

Hey, Robyn, Glad you're back home. Didn't you have to spend the night in the hospital? I know I was pushing the pain button during that first night so that might be why you're in pain??? Welcome to the losing side. Love & peace, Fran

I've been hoping to see an update from you. Glad it went well. I too had several previous surgeries and I think we just forget the pain we were in. I've been wondering what to do with my yorkie that thinks she is a cat and is always jumping and laying on me! Keep us informed on your progress. I will be having my banding done on the 25th and it helps to hear from the "other side" keep up the good work. Denise

Congrats Robyn, I am so happy for you. I know you are probably thinking finally. I did not realize people that had the LapBand done would have so much pain.....But congrats and remember we are here if you have questions. Christie
