Update on Robyn

Well, I have good and bad news. I didn't have my surgery today unfortunately, but.........I finally got an APPROVAL!!!!!!! Those words were the most beautiful words I could of heard today and I got them straight from the ins co's mouth. I had to give em heck all day though but I finally heard what I wanted to hear!! Yay, I am so happy about that Approval. As most of you know it has been nearly a year now. Oh, and my surgery had to be rescheduled, but it is only until next friday. That is only a little over a week away and this time I can celebrate on the day of my surgery instead of sit around and worry. Oh, and another good thing. I ate dinner tonight...Oh boy...that was the most wonderful food I have ever tasted. I was good and only had soup and salad but it was so yummy. I don't want to undo all the good from my liquid diet so I am going to try to be good and sensible with what I am eating. Sorry this is so long, thanks for supporting me through this journey. CONGRATULATIONS ROBYN!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad that you got approved! Its a shame that you have to wait until next friday, but its better to get approved now, than never! I was in the doctors office yesterday for my first consultation and I said to Melinda that I knew you and that you were supposed to be having surgery today. All she said was that your insurance company was giving you a hard time. I go back Monday to see the surgeon and start the process. I am glad that they take care of the insurance part and that they know what we need to do to get approved! Thats too much of a headache for me right now! Anyway, I am excited for you and just wanted to let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers! Ihope that everything goes well for you! Take care.......shaughnessy

I have Dr Sofronski and I absolutely love him He is so sweet but straightforward at the same time. He tells it like it is and requires you to adapt healthy eating habits. He has helped me out so much. I know I will be successful and I know he will be there routing me on every step of the way. The whole staff is really friendly. They have even gotten to know Chloe because I take her to a lot of my appts. They always ask for her if I don't bring her. The atmosphere there is awesome, I couldn't say enough nice things about them I know someone who had Dr Bovard and they seemed pleased with him as well, but I don't think he is as outgoing and Dr Sofronski. Robyn.....Thanks for the info! I loved Melinda........she was soooo nice and just personable. She told me that everyone is family here and they all treat each other that way....which is so cool! I go back this Monday and pay the 2500 buckaroos......oooooh! Thats a lot of money! Anyway, I am going to try to make it to the meeting on Thursday. Will you be there? take care...... shaughnessy
