I am a little over 3 months out of surgery. Before the surgery one of my co-workers was trying to get me to run in the Broadstreet run in Phila. I told her maybe next year. I did not fell comfortable running and did not think I could do. Well I started to pay attention to how much I really walked in the morning. I foud out that I was walking about 2.25 miles in about 35min on the tread mill. Well I took the plunge this morning and I ran for the first time this morining and it was not that bad. I only ran about 0.5miles and walked the remaining 1.5 miles. And trust me I do not run fast, but I did it. I did something I thought I could not do.

That is so kewl! Congrats. It's amazing how we are so used to thinking that we cannot do something and become our own worse enemies. Great to hear that you gave it a shot and succeeded. Dianne
