May or May Not have Surgery...

I think it is kind of cruel of the insurance co to keep me waiting like this. They moved my surgery back from 6 to 11 but I am still waiting on an approval! So, I may have surgery in the morning and I may not. This is the worst kind of waiting. I just wish I had a final answer...yes or no. I had already planned out what I was going to eat for dinner tonight if my ins said no Now, I am still on liquids and can't have anything after midnight. I just feel like crying I think having no food for 7 days is not helping the situation any. I will update tomorrow if I get a chance. Thanks to those who are praying for me. Robyn

Robyn, I can't believe they would wait till the last moment...I also can't believe a hospital would schedule you without the approval. Doesn't seem to be good practice. Sorry they are putting you through this. I hope it all works out for you. Debbie

Hey Robyn: Sorry the ins co is stressing you out - the doctor's office must be pretty confident that you'll receive an approval or they would never have scheduled the surgery. I'd keep calling the doctor's office to see if they could put a little pressure on the ins co for an answer. I'm not a patient person so I'd be furious at this point. Lots of prayers coming your way!!!! Take care & see on the losing side!!!!
