Yup I am right there with you.  This was my first year post op so I hope that if the oddity lasts thru the summer I hope I don't have to put the air conditioner on.   But I think that may be to much to ask.

Anyone who would like to have a little exercise before the Regular Meeting on Saturday please join me I plan on taking a walk around the Wesleyan University track for about a half hour. I will be there around 9:30

The Track in on the same street as Water's Edge where the meeting is. Church Street becomes Cross St. The Freeman Athletic Center is on the left about a 1/4 mile down the street. Parking is just beyond the Fire House

I hope it is a nice day for a walk and not to chilly or snowy. I wont be walking if there is snow

Hope you can join me
Gloria

As I sit in front of my fireplace, with a blanket wrapped around me I can sympathize with you. I used to always be warm, and now I can't seem to get warm. I sleep with an electric mattress pad to warm up my bed.

I figure it is better to be cold than heavy!

Take care!

It does get better.  4 winters after my surgery and I am still cold but it is better than it was.  I have adjusted by wearing more clothes.

Cassie, I have the same problem.  I used to be hot all the time, now I feel so cold.  I dont know why this happened to me, but I kindof think that it is because we are changing everything we eat.  I dont know, Im going to ask my doc.  Meanwhile lol bundle up!

i never thought this would become a "problem" of mine... i have always!! been someone who was hot blooded... year round you would find me in a tank top, out shoveling snow without a coat, it was great for my oil bill, never had the heat about 65/68... but since surgery i am sooooo coldddd... i am always wearing swets, my heat never gets below 70, and i sleep with 3-4 blankets on me at night... went to the grocery store today and was shivering the whole time and was in my hoodie and swet pants... (stylish i know lol)... anyone had this huge change in their "body tempts" (not really body temp cuz my temp is still normal).. does it get better after a while? or am i damn to be cold for the rest of my life? lol... im gonna have to buy some stock in swets, gloves and hats...

thanks *brrrrrrr

The funny thing about me is I've never seen myself as heavy in the mirror as I do in photographs - so now that I'm almost 60 pounds gone - I don't see it so much in the mirror - but I do see it in photographs....I don't know why - perhaps in the mirror you can move into better angles?
Warm Regards - Tammy -
