You came to my room once to meet and then we met in the hall later. Hope you are doing well. I have my follow up visit today.

My experience was positive. I worried so much before surgery about everything imaginable. Will I have complications, will I never enjoy food again, etc etc. as it turned out 13 days later no complications yet (knock on wood) and tomorrow I can attempt soft foods. The surgery turned out to be not as overwhelming as I thought it was going to be. So now I have to start attending some type of support group (I think at Middlesex) and I still see my Psychologist who specialises in bariateic patients. And here of course in OH, I cruise here every day. How about you??

Yes I did! Wed, May 27th and left that friday the 29th. Did we meet walking the halls??
Glad to know you are well. How was your overall experience with Dr. Thishler? How was your process and what other tools do you use for support?
Hi, did you have yours on May 27? If so, maybe we met.
Congrats on your surgery!! I wish you the very best success. I haven't attended support groups in many years, and now live in Texas. However, I always found the Middlesex group to be well organized and worthwhile. I attended there for quite some time.
Best,

Dr. Tishler did a RNY on me 13 days ago. It seems he did a great job, so far so good.
Hello Lily,
I just came across this post. I just saw Dr. Thisler for an initial visit. May I ask what procedure you had?

Oh Lisa, one question I wanted to ask, do you attend the support groups held at Middlesex? I understand they are every 1st, 2nd and 3rd mondays of the month. Are they woth attending?
