Hi Dan
Is this open to all surgical patients or just those of a specific doctor/surgeon?
Thanks,
Leslee

That's so funny--I'm realizing the same thing about here! I've been here for 11 years and I'm still lost!! Also, there are so many local places I've meant to visit and haven't gotten to yet!!!

Thanks for the message! It's nice to hear that you love it there and that it's a great place for children and families. Where did you move from? Where you relocated for work? So glad to hear good news of moving to CT! I need all the support I can get!! :) I'm sure it will go fine but you know it's so stressssssfullll!!!! Oh--and how did your kids do? And how old are they? (I have an 8 year old and a 12 year old, both girls. They're handling it better than I am....)
Take care,
Kristen

Topic: RE: Hello
Hi, My name is Dan... live in Madison... do you participate in any support groups? This board is not very active... I invite you to join our "little" group called Central CT Cares (CCCares) ... we meet the 2nd Saturday of each month in Middletown... please see the following link.. http://www.obesityhelp.com/group/CCCares/
another group I highly recommend is LIPO (Long Island Post Ops). Their Facebook page is very active. The group itself is unbelievably active and meets twice a month (Suffolk and Nassau County) The group was founded by Maryellen Ruggiero and should be the worldwide model for support groups! Please feel free to PM me with any questions. Dan
