Topic: Revisions & Dr.s in SECT

I had lap-band over 3 years ago, and am considering having the band removed and having bypass due to weight gain and pb'ing all the time.

My questions are:  1.  has anyone had revision surgery and why?

                                   2.  Are there any doctors in the Southeast CT area who are known for wriiting recommendation letters?  My obgyn wrote one when I first had the surgery and I don't think she'd be willing to again.

I am looking for a new DR in Fairfield County that is sympathetic to being obese and is not going to blame all medical complaints on being overweight.  Prefer female but open.  Also would be good if they took Anthem insurance.  Thanks!

Topic: RE: Question about Support Group Meetings
I love the fact that there are a groupof people who know what this journey is like.

What I dislike is that there are always two or three know it all women who occupy the conversation and talk about BS that almost never applies to me.

Topic: Question about Support Group Meetings
For those of you who attend bariatric support group meetings, please answer these questions:
1)  What do you LOVE about your meetings?
2)  What do you HATE about your meetings?
3)  What changes would you like to see happen at your meetings?

Inquiring minds want to know!
