Topic: Oncoming Anxiety!
Haven't given much thought about the surgery in 2 days until today. Starting to become a little anxious but not bad. Probably due to wondering how long a stay I'll have and making sure my wife has things done by me so she won't have to run around for me after I"m home. Any tips or things I can expect would be appreciated.

Congrats. Your success level is similar to what I hope to achieve. Hope all goes well for myself as well. I'm starting at 420 lbs. and goal is to be less than 240. My Dr. is Barba from central CT. If I may ask, what sort of excersize routine did you do? My surgery is day after tomorrrow. 2/7/12.

Thanks so much for your feedback!  My insurance has already approved - just waiting for a call from my surgeon letting me know he has spoken with Dr. Bell!

HI ... welcome ... I had RNY in May of 2009.  Cannot say enough about Dr. Bell and his entire staff.  They are all WONDERFUL.  He IS the BEST!  My husband is going also for RNY ... he is just waiting for a date.  They are very kind, attentive, and helpful.  I have had to call on the weekend... someone always got right back to me and I email Dr. Bell frequently with questions/concerns, and he ALWAYS answers in a timely manner.  Good luck to you!

Topic: Dr Bell
Hi - looking for feedback on Dr. Bell at Yale - had my band out in May - looking to do RNY.  My surgeon said he would be the best.

Thanks for your input!
