That would be great Rich!  It would really help I think with my "love affair" with food.

Thanks!

Thank you Nancy - I was so sure the band was the tool for me - but I was wrong - it was not good for me at all - it only worked right when I was pregnant! Dr. R. thought that was strange - he said he'd never heard of that before....

Thanks for the confirmation that Dr. R is a good doctor - he is a very confident man that is for sure - and his office is run very well from what I've experienced so far!
Warm Regards - Tammy -

Mickey - Thank you so much for taking the time to send that very thoughtful e'mail - I haven't had much time so apologize for not responding....

Thanks for all the "food" for thought (no pun intended) - I appreciate it.

Congratulations!! Good luck with the eggs - just from what I know - eggs are not the easiest food to tolerate so be very careful!!! It's great to hear that you are not as sore as you thought - comforting - I'll be in your shoes very shortly I think!

Thanks everyone. I got discharged this morning and am now relaxing at home now. Everything went well and i am not even near as sore as i thought i would be. Today i am going to focus on clear liquids, mostly water but tomorrow i might get adventurous and try some soft scrambled eggs.

I've been seeing Terria Linn, MSW in Hamden for over a year now and she
has been a life saver for me. If you want I will ask her if she knows of anyone closer to you.

Does anyone know of any therapists that specialize in emotional eating in the Norwich area?  Just thought I needed to resolve some of these issues.

Thanks!

You can add the powder to hot liquids like decaf coffee or sf hot cocoa, just be sure to tempur it first, by mixing the powder in a little cold liquid  ie. water or milk and then slowly mix it into the hot beverage or it might clump. That doesn't hurt it only it's not so appetizing.
