I was banded on 12/16/08 also by Dr. Ehrlich. The whole experience was wonderful. Drs/nurses/hospital... etc were great. He has also banded my husband (the same day as me) and my daughter (08/08/08). We are all doing great. I don't get to the gym as often as i'd like, but when the weather gets warmer I'll be walking more near the shore.
Good luck with your surgery, i'm sure you'll do great! It's life changing!!

I would take you up on that if you were in the middletown area, I have been needing someone to kick my ass into doing some more and been looking to get out some more with spring (someday) coming.

This group in NY is wild! They're planning a special "number" at the fashion show for those who want to be involved in it, but the cutoff for that will be October 1st! I'm sorry you had a bad experience with Dr. Raftopolous. Did he do the original surgery? I work in the healthcare field, ironically at St. Francis Hospital and Medcial Center, and I always tell my patients to ASK QUESTIONS!! Also, NEVER let a physician bully you. If he told you to stop making excuses and start excercising, he was way out of line. Before you make any decisions about the next surgery, make sure you FULLY understand why he wants to do the revision or the band filling, and then YOU can make an educated decision about what procedure YOU want to have done. Remember, the doctor works for YOU, you don't work for the doctor!
