boy I can sure relate.  I can't help you out at all cause I'm in the same boat.
I am always hungry now too.  And I'm amazed at the different kinds of foods I could eat.
I thought I would never be able to have some of this stuff again and was glad about that but it was not to be.
I'm just as scared too.  Hopefully something will kick my butt and get me back on track.  I hate myself for it.
good luck.

Hi Jeanne
Thanks for the reply and it's great to hear good things about Yale and Dr. Duffy.
Originally I was referred to Dr. Bell but when they found out about my Barretts esophagus and reflux they said Dr. Duffy would be good for me.  He was great at the group info meeting.
Continued success with your journey
Laura

Hi-I had Dr. Bell in the same practice, but Dr. Duffy saw me one day in the hospital, and I saw him at one appointment when Dr. bell had na emergency.  He is just as wonderful as dr. Bell, and he was very kind, and spent lots of time with me-didn't rush me, and answered all my questions.  The floor they put their patients on at Yale was great-the staff was very attentive, and I got excellent care.  Everyone went out of their way, and I never had to wait when I needed help.  there was only one nurse on the night staff who was very abrupt-.  Overall it was a great experience and I would do it again.  I had the VSG.  Good luck.

Topic: Surgery Scheduled with Dr. R.
Hi,
Just wanted to share that my surgery is scheduled w/ Dr. R for June 16th. He asked me to do additional testing with a hematologist to double check for blood clotting issues. If all comes back ok I will be heading to St. Francis on the 16th.
Thanks for all your support and information!

Mighty prayers for Jean, Rachel. Did she have surgery at the same time you did, six years ago? Any complications previously? Is this condition related to her post-WLS plumbing? Please let us know what's going on. You look fabulous, what's your secret after six years?? Thanks. Maureen
