Hi Tammy,

Of course I'll make sure you get the best!!  Actually, most of our docs are excellent.  There are a few who don't have the best personalities, but I'll make sure you get both...great personality and great skills!!

Unfortunately I wasn't able to make the meeting last night.  How was it?  I'd like to attend the next one.

Again, congratulations!!  I'm so excited as if it's my date. LOL!!!

WOW .. what a difference two years makes!   My Surgeriversary went by un-noticed as I was sitting by my boyfriends bedside after shoulder surgery....BUT...I can't wait to see Dr. Bell Friday!  two years ago....he gave me the tools to begin my life again...that was 212 lbs ago....and let me tell you ... I NEVER thought I would be a size 14 again....I think the last time I was a size 14 was 30 years ago!!!

Just decided to take off my picture, DH really doesn't like me to give out too much info on line.

Yes it is better looking at 14lbs opposed to 114.

As for giving up everything for ever, I almost wish I ever tested the waters with sweets, I have a thing for chocolate now..........

Portion size when eating dense protien like chicken breast, beef or pork is about 2-3 oz along with maybe a 1/3 of a cup or so of veg and  1/3 cup starch with a meal.
Other foods like cottage cheese I could eat about 1 cup with some fruit, lettuce I can eat several cups. I stay away from bread much of the time, when I do eat it I get really full and can't eat the protien I should. I still supplement with one protien drink a day, for breakfast since I am not a breakfast person. The problem is snacking too much, even though I still can't eat anywhere near the quantity I could before surgery, thank goodness, It is best to snack on protien as it is more filling and keeps you feeling full the longest and is better for you as we all know. The struggle for me with is my relationship with food, it  is one that I will need to constantly be aware of. But I will never forget how I was before I lost weight and do not want to ever go back there.

Sher

ps.some people are never able to tolerate some foods.
