2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!

Hi
Please don't be discouraged. Remember, you were given a tool, you just have to be retrained on how to use it. I started climbing back up 2 yrs ago, and put the brakes on. I removed ALL bread, crackers, rice, sugar, and all carb type food and did a diet of straight protein and grilled veggies. I immediately lost 22 lbs. I had gained like 12. I have maintained that and lost another 5 recently. My total weight loss is 100 lbs. So it CAN be done! It's not easy, and I am here to tell you I strugged every single day. But I do not want to go back. I had my WLS 8 1/2 yrs ago (lap RNY), and I pray every day that I can keep the willpower going. Some days I think I can't and other days it's easy. Please don't give up! Good luck, and take one day at a time and don't punish yourself.
I know this is far for you but I go to Dr. Papernik in Glastonbury. I do know he is hard to get into but he is WLS friendly.
I shall now be know as Hagatha: Queen of the queens.

Our thoughts and prayers to all of you from Maryland, as well as the Singles Forum.
I just wanted to extend my thoughts and prayers to the entire state of Ct. I know that your entire state is hurting over the loss of those precious first grade students from Shady Hooks Elementry and the adults that died in this tragic incident also. I want to let you know that IMHO our entire nation is grieving for your states loss. You will remain in my thoughts and prayers now and in the months to come. I am sending ya'll a CYBER (((( HUG ))))) !!! Praying for God to heal your state quickly.
Hugs and blessings ~~~ Vivian
GOD GRANT ME THE SERENITY TO ACCEPT THE THINGS I CAN NOT CHANGE; COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS THAT I CAN; AND THE WISDOM TO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE !!!! THIS IS MY DAILY PRAYER.
