Hi Shannon- have you tried to have your records moved over?  I wasn't sure if it was an overly complicated process, meaning was the former office being buttheads about it and difficult.

Thanks Bette!  Do you know if FCB is charging for these files to be sent? Are they sending the whole original file, or just copies?   I will be changing my stuff to the new place, but wasn't sure if the old practice was being a pain in the behind about it.

Congrats Bette!  You rock!  I can't believe that it's been 6 years for you, I remember when I was researching WLS reading your story and just saying how cool it was that you've been so successful.  If any of you have the pleasure to meet Bette in real life, she's a hoot!  Congrats to you and cheers for many more years of continued success!

Topic: ATTENTION: Dr. Tim Ehrlichs Patients
Hi Everyone,

I am fairly new to this board but not the band. I have been banded for 3 years and decided to come on here for support cause I have had my share of struggles, in any case I know about everything that has transpired with Doctor Ehrlich and Fairfield County Bariatrics and I just want to say, I saw him yesterday and he is so saddened by this mess, not because of the practice splittling but because of the mass confusion this is causing his patients. If you are one of Dr. Ehrlichs patients take down the info at the end of this message. If you are a newbie and you had scheduled surgeries with Dr. Ehrlich (HE CAN STILL BE YOUR SURGEON) evedently people are being told they need to pick a new Doctor, thats not the case. He is a one of a kind doctor I am proud to call my doctor and my friend.... His office staff is the friendliest I have ever encountered. Becky McAndrews is wonderful. They all make a great team and thats what a person ungoing Bariatric Surgery needs....Anyway, I just felt the need to say this, I will give you the info: Ehrlich Bariatrics  115 Technology Drive Suite C-100, Trumbull, CT 06611  Toll Free # 888-714-7407...Clinical Calls go too: 203-807-0636......I know its been posted already but if we post it alot then the message will get around.....
Best of Luck to all of you!!!!!

Congratulations Bette! 6 years is sure a long road and its certainly been a winding journey! So glad the end of that winding road is still working for you and you're keeping on top of all those danger signs! I hate to admit it, but I was there when you joined the support groups 6 years ago!!! And I'm still on that winding journey myself.

Congrats on 6 years!

WOW Betty - so GREAT to see you here on the CT Boards!! You look wonderful, are still inspirational and deserve a big congratulations on taking your life back and cherishing it!! Unfortunately the band didn't do the "trick" for me and was not a tool I could work with so I revised to the RNY and so far (knock on wood) it's going very well! I'm so happy to hear the band is still doing it's magic for you!

Keep on spreading the good word that miracles do come true....
Warm Regards - Tammy -
