Topic: RE: Any CT DS Surgeons
I don't think there are any surgeons in CT that do the DS.  The closest I've seen is NJ.  I keep looking, and hoping... Maybe someday soon.  Good luck!

There's always COBRA, which I think is just stupid since no one can seem to afford it. But the Obama Administration supposedly enacted a program last year that allows people to keep their health coverage at a substantially reduced cost. You may want to call 2-1-1 (I'm pretty sure that's the number) and ask if anyone has details.

Sorry to hear about your job. I am in the same boat: lost my job in November of 2008 and still haven't found a new one.

Topic: Any CT DS Surgeons
I am wondering if anybody has information on any experienced surgeons in CT with revision surgeries to DS?  The OH list does state Dr Bell, but I called and he does not perform DS surgeries.

Thank you... I had my first appointment with my primary this morning. I'm just waiting for the nutrionist to contact me to schedule an appointment. I'm deciding on which psychiatrist to see. Any suggestions??

Dr. Bell is my doctor.  I had gastric bypass on May 11, 2009 and cannot say a bad thing about him or his staff.  My experience with them has been WONDERFUL.   He has a great way about him and the office staff really knows their stuff.  They have always been very quick to get back to me with questions/concerns and very attentive.

Good luck to you.

Originally i was going with Dr.Aranow. But because of many reasons I decided to go to a local Hospital and have Dr. Bell as my Doc. Is there anyone who had Dr.Bell as a Lap Band surgeon??

Had my surgery (RNY) with Dr. A) October 8,2008. I can't say enough about my experience. A 10 on a scale of 10. Down 94 pounds. Just bought smallest size panty hose as opposed to the largest. Wow. I am 67 and my senior citizen life is so good with less weight. Go Dr. A and gang! Delphy
