WLS Second Annual Summer Picnic
Hello OH Family,
We are getting close, one more month and our exciting day will be here. I just want to remind everyone of the date and location. We are having a great response this year of people saying they are coming. Its going to be awesome this year. I am so excited about this.
My committee will be meeting with me on May 13th at my house and we will get together all our ideas and see what everyone can do to help that day. I can't tell you how grateful I am to all of these people who are helping me this year. Kathy K and I have a great group of support.
So again here is all the information on our second annual WLS Picnic Get Together. I am so excited about this event and I know we will have a great day. There will be alot of wonderful people attending this great event and its going to be a blast.
DATE: SATURDAY, JUNE 24TH
PLACE: HAMMONASSET STATE PARK (MADISON CT)
TIME: NOON TO WHENEVER
We will be located at:
Pavilion #3 (ALL PAID FOR)
12 Picnic Tables
2 Pedestal Grills available
500 feet to Restrooms
1000 feet to Concession Stand
500 feet to The Beach
No electricity or running water
No pets are allowed
Parking Fee is separate
Come One Come All for some fun in the sun. It's that time of the year again. Let's all get together for a great day of fun, friends, family and some food and drink too. This facility has large pavilions, grills and a beautiful beach to swim at. There is a great trail to walk, a nature center and also grassy areas to have activates and relax.
I am hoping that we have a great turnout this year. I already have so many people volunteering to help me out and sending in their donations. This is wonderful. I love you guys. It's impossible to please everyone but majority of people really want this place for our get together. I hope everyone will come and join us for this great event.
We are going to plan a lot of fun events like last year. We hope everyone will get involved this year.

These are just some ideas I am throwing out there, we can come up with allot of fun things to do both for the children and the adults. This invitation is open to everyone's family, friends and significant others. The more the merrier.
You can bring all your own supplies, food, drink, etc. Like last year we all brought various things and even shared too. We also are asking for donations towards the raffle, whether you can get gifts, gift cards, make a themed basket or any type of idea you may have. It would be a lot of fun for all and we are raising money for a great foundation. Again all monies made on the raffle will be donated to the WLS Foundation like our Spring Gala, Annual Walk, etc. We want to help in anyway we can. So if you would like to any of these items, it would be greatly appreciated.
Get the word out to everyone and let's make this a great success. This is such a great group of people and we all have so much fun together, Saturday night at the Gala and last year at the walk and picnic was an example of how much we all enjoy each other. Let's keep this going everyone!!!!!

Hey there Hot Stuff! Someone has a new pic! Or have I just not noticed it? Well its very nice. You look great girl!
But I have bad news, my class reunion is that same day. I just got word of this yesterday. They are throwing it together at the last minute so it will be an all day picnic type deal. I hate to miss the WLS picnic but I haven't seen most of my old classmates in years. But I will be with you in spirit!
