Hey Everybody, We made it!!!!!! It was fun and enjoy exercise on beautiful weather!!! There were 820 people there .Terri and I finished the line . Me 429 and Terri 431 from 820 . That is very good for our first time on Road Race! I am so proud of myself and Terri too!

I would like Linnie, Nancy, and other local WLS people to join with us next year!!! I will planning to go on Road Race again this late Fall. Kathy, I can't thank you enough for encouraging me to walk in my 1st ever road race. it is something (even now) that I wouldn't have done on my own. I really enjoyed myself and what a rush to see the timer board as you cross the finish line. We did 3.5 miles in 54 minutes! It was a beautiful day for it and what a great experience for a road racing newbie. Love the pictures Kathy, thanks for posting them. I am so proud of you too....

this was a big accomplishment for us. Can't wait for the next time and it will be great to have more of our OH friends join in with us. enjoy this awesome weekend everyone! terri

Congratulations to both of you amazing women. You are both proof that WLs is NOT the easy way out and that the tool works as long as you work it. Hats off to both of you for an outstanding job. Thanks everyone for the great support for our walk yesterday. Speaking of doors that open... it was quite an experience to see all the different people at the walk. One of whom was a stroke victim who finished.... isn't that awesome?!
