Food & Exercise Log THURSDAY
Hi Everybody,
I am getting excited about this Saturday coming for 5K road race with Terri and the rest of gangs. I will do nordric walking for 3.5 miles today after work and will give my body rest tomorrow (no exercise tomorrow)
B-cottage cheese with some chuck pineapple
S nectar protein drink and load of water
L lean cruise
S load of water
D will go out with my girlfriend tonight probably some steak with green pepper, onion and mushroom and won t finish all on the plate
S simple smart milk and load of water
Enjoy weather today!!! It is getting warmer and sun come out!

Sunrise Crystal light when I woke up
B - Turkey w/gravy...(Thank GOD it's the last of it!)
S- Cheddar cheese w/a few whole grain crackers
L-Chunky firehouse chili w/cheese a few nacho flavored rice crackers & a
few bites of yogurt (depending how full or if I want it.)
Water, coffee, and crystal light through out the day
D- Boneless spareribs (making in the crock pot) and some veggies
Exercise either Curves or some walking...it's going to be beautiful out today and I really want to be outside...maybe a walk at lunch?

This Saturday, my hubby and I will take a very early train into NYC to cheer on our youngest daughter as she does HER first 5K run in Central Park. So I will be cheering YOU on the same time I am cheering her on.

D_ Going out with family ?
I had planned on cutting back on carbs and then went to Tuesday Post op Support group. Received a hand out that says if you get tremulous it is because your body needs more carbs and at this far out I should be getting 30% of my meals with healthy carbs. I did Fitday and that is what I have been doing (and a few times a week I get shakey)so I will continue for a while longer and see how it goes. I am below goal(even though I got pretty low when I was sick I have now gained 3 lbs and feel good).
Will go to the gym for a hard 25 minute cardio workout then do wgts. Dr A's dietician did say when you are at maintanance level 2-- 45 minute workout a week is enough. That was a surprise. I

S- not sure- but I've got cottage cheese or maybe a handful of lite chips
D- going for a business dinner @ Max's in Springfield, (yes, I'm driving ALL over creation today!) so I'll try for a piece of baked fish or a salad with meat on it and dressing on the side
S- probably won't have one.
Drinks: Bought some fruit 2 O, apple flavor, so I'll drink that today.
Exercise: well, I STARTED to do 45 minutes on the elliptical at home this morning, but got interrupted with a phone call from my BF that his uncle is unexpectedly coming to stay with us for 2 days and arriving at 9:00 tonight! So- I had to stop exercising and START house cleaning! Can that be my exercise for the day??? LOL. Probably doesn't count, so I guess I won't get to exercise today.
Feeling much better today but came into a load of work that was supposed to done yesterday so it was a very busy day.

S - ? I am thinking of making my own diet lemonade pops, something cold
I did my kickboxing for 30 mins yesterday for the 1st time in a week. I have been walking alot instead of my regular exercise and it really kicked my butt!. A little less than a month ago I used to do 45 - 60 minutes of kickboxing mostly everyday and lately 30 mins has me completely wiped. I can't wait until I get my labs back so I can see whether my iron is low or something.

D A little eggplant parmagan with a small salad
Drinking lots of water and crystal light to beef up my fluids. Got a good workout in and came out feeling great! Hope everyone has a good evening! Julio
