Good Morning Everybody What a morning to figure out how to get into Ct message board I will be busy today. I will go to PPT meeting then alot of works at work but do not Think no baseball game tonight but who know? B-cold chicken S load of water L turkey chili with ceddar cheese S load of water D fish with green beans S simple smart milk and load of water Will do sit ups and push up with exercise ball tonight

The new site is pretty, I can't wait to play with all the new bells and whistles! B, L , D - turkey chili Having one of those "I wanna die" days that only a woman on her period could have. I am simply miserable so I called out of work today. Its really more mental than anything else. I just didn't have it in me to go and face the mountain of issues and emotions that have been greeting me at work lately. My Ob tried taking me off Xanax but I think it was a really bad idea. Basically he told me to stop taking them and "see what happens." What what happens when you try to go off of it cold turkey is that you turn into a zombie. So I called him back and told him that I just couldn't take anymore of this and he said "well I just thought we'd try it." So I am back on my Happy Pills but I am not so happy yet.

(((Christine))) I hope your day goes better! That's a lot of variety you have on your menu today Why wouldn't you do a transition off the xanax? Cold turkey on meds like that will through your hormones into a spin and it takes a while to get back to where you were - I'm surprised he told you to just stop and see what happens...... My mother has been taking xanax for years and years (at least 15 years) as a sleeping pill - I think it's absurd but I'm not a doctor......... Hi Tammy! Don't worry about my menu, I am adding soy chips and pnut butter as snacks. I am feeling better now actually. I got some great news today. One of the things that I have been stressed about was my family and I found out that my mom is finally leaving my dad. But your concerns are same ones that my bf had. He went to the Xanax website and found out that if you stop cold turkey you can have seizures and such. Thats when I called the doc back and said "Um, I feel crazy and I don't want to seize up." The reason why they wanted me to come off is b/c they are a Ob-Gyn practice and don't feel comfortable giving me advice about controlled substances. Now I am inclined to agree with them after this one piece of advice! So I am going to look into my mental health options with my insurance. Thanks!

Hi everybody!, Another rainy day! Sheesh! B 2 poached eggs S 1/2 a banana L 2oz's turkey taco filling with diced tomato's and a slice of LF cheese S protien shake D 3oz's grilled pork with small green salad No gym today went yesterday. Will hit the excersize bike while watching the news. Have a great evening all!

Well, I'm thinking I need to start participating in this to keep myself accountable for my actions and start PLANNING what I eat again. You know- I'm 3+ years post op- and what I eat, should NOT be what someone who is less far out or trying to loose should eat. We all have to make our own desicions and take responsibility for our own actions (OR lack thereof, especially when it comes to exercise) But, I'm here to post, to keep myself accountable and to see some interesting ideas about what others are eating. Portion control, choices and exercise are STILL my own responsibility. I bottomed out at 130 lbs and currently weigh in at 145. This is a regain I fully expected (as should most post-ops), but I'm here to say- I'm NOT looking for any more. It's time for me to take control and make sure that this is the TOP of the scale for me. B: Oatmeal (please don't eat this for breakfast if you're newly post op or still trying actively to loose weight there are much better choices) One Huge DD Coffee, w/milk & splenda S: 1/2 protein bar L: Chicken breast S: the other half of the protein bar D: Ch****n teriacki w/veggies and a tiny tiny bit of rice S: carrot sticks w/low cal veggie dip & maybe a slice of cheddar if I'm really hungry. This new site is great! Coffee w/sweetnlow and 1/2 & 1/2 B - Yogurt (peach flavored yum!) S - Strawberries w/splenda and tsp of light sour cream L - Turkey, cheese, light mayo on a wrap D- ?? S - Probably light cool whip with a bit of peanut butter -that's my new favorite snack! I'm already on my 49 ounce of water and it's only 1:05 so I'm sure to get in enough water today. 30 minutes on the recumbent bike listening to my Ipod! I'm stressing out over school - I behind on my homework and can't seem to get motivated to right about the ethics of freedom of speech even though it is an interesting topic.

Hello Everyone! Another crazy day at work...we're transition to a new computer program so it's been a little nutty the past 2 weeks... Iced tea as soon as I woke up...my fluid intake is SUFFERING lately B - 3 pieces of fat free bolona cooked w/melted cheese...(Didn't finish) S- 4 whole grain crackers w/melted mozzerella cheese L- 3 whole grain crackers with turkey salad and mozz cheese...few bites of low fat yogurt So-be lean drink, crystal light, and coffee through out the day. D- Ceasar Salad w/grilled chicken from McD's. (hubby picked it up for me) no croutons & I use my own dressing. Worked out at curves tonight... I also jumped on the scale & it moved 7 pounds!! I've been platued for over 2 months....I'll take it! whoot whoot! Have a good night all & for us American Idol fans...I think Paris is going tonight... Mickey

Good evening everyone, I am late on the log again. Had a crazy day today at work. Getting ready for our senior center pasta dinner fundraiser. Lots to do. Erin had her dress rehersal for her play. I caught alittle of it tonight picking her up. Its so adorable, I can't wait for the performances tomorrow and friday night. B: Achiev One Coffee Drink S: southbeach protein bar L: cheese and all grain crackers S: Achieve One drink D: Lean Cuisine Chicken Dinner S: cheese and crackers Okay, I am giving up on losing anymore weight. I am back to 219 from 213 and its making me crazy. I have not been obsessing about the scale and I got on it today and it made me very upset. I know I will break this, but damn it why is this happening to me. I have been so good, I exercise, I do my food, I have even increased my protein. I am so bummed and feel like I am failing again. Believe me I am grateful for as far as I have come this past year, but why is it torturing me. I just want to get out of the 200s and I will be happy. I don't want to be a skinny minny, I just want to lose the rest of the weight needed to be at my goal. I am sorry I am venting but its just so frustrating to me. I guess I need to just re evaluate all the things I am doing and try something else. Thanks for letting me vent everyone. Love the new site changes too, except we don't have to option to type the fancy colors and fonts like the main board. Everyone check it out, its really nice. Thanks all. Hugs Kim
