I HAVE A DATE!!!!

I went to see Dr. Giovanni on the 19th and she gave me a date....MAY 26th!!!! I was so excited when I got out of the office that I started to cry at the elevator. I just kept thinking about my daughter and what this will mean to her. I will be a mommy who can jump and run and go on amusement park rides. I also thought about what it means to me, of course. I'm on the edge of a great divide. The divide as life as I know it and life as I know it CAN BE. I've always said that I'm not living the life I'm meant to live. I'm in a body that defies my spirit and soul. Well, now I will know what it's like to feel healthy and happy and sound...mind, body and soul. I've felt it before, after I've lost weight but only for about 13 minutes until the weight crept back up. If anyone else is going for LAP or RNY on the 26th at St. Francis just let me know I'd love to see a "familiar" face!!!! Take care everybody!!! Gina B.
