To Our Lap-Band Patients: This purpose of this letter is to address concerns regarding the Lap-Band Support Group meetings. We apologize that at the last meeting, there was no representation from our office due to scheduling conflicts and hospital emergencies. It was never our intention to disappoint or frustrate our patients. We are in the process of planning the meeting for May, and have invited Dr. Barba's first lap-band patient from four years ago to speak. It is our hope that as many of our lap-band patients as possible can attend, whether you have ever been to a meeting before or if it will be your first.
