Hello I am woundering has anyone had a structure I think I might have one I most of my food and I dry heve alot I keep fluid down most of the time I go for a endo on Thursday but I was woundering if anyone has advice for me and if I have a structure do I go home the same day and what happens to me thanks
Hello Melinda,
I had a stricture. It is nothing to get it fixed. By the time they are done with the endoscopy, your stricture will be fixed.
I would get so sick on solid food. I would throw everything up. I could only keep liquids down. And it hurt. They had to fix it twice. Because they couldn't stretch the opening all at once. The doctor that did it, told me that the opening was almost completly closed and it was lucky that I got it fixed when I did. I had to go back 3 weeks later to get the rest stretched. It is so much better now. I can eat most anything. I am so glad I got it fixed when I did. It doesn't hurt. You don't feel it. So don't worry about it. You will feel better and you will be able to eat better. Just take it slow on what you eat until you are sure it will be o.k.
Good Luck. It will be fine.
Hugs, Sarah
Hi Melinda,
I threw up from daily from July 4th to August 30...they thought maybe a stricture, maybe this, maybe that....finally they figured out it was my gall bladder. If you have not had yours out yet, who knows, maybe you should get a hidoscan. I had NO pain with my gall bladder, no attacks...and it was the worst gall bladder they have ever seen!!
good luck with everything
Amanda
