Are there any people from Connecticut here?

My experience was positive.  I worried so much before surgery about everything imaginable.  Will I have complications, will I never enjoy food again, etc etc.  as it turned out 13 days later no complications yet (knock on wood) and tomorrow I can attempt soft foods.  The surgery turned out to be not as overwhelming as I thought it was going to be. So now I have to start attending some type of support group (I think at Middlesex) and I still see my Psychologist who specialises in bariateic patients.  And here of course in OH, I cruise here every day.  How about you??

Oh Lisa, one question I wanted to ask, do you attend the support groups held at Middlesex?  I understand they are every 1st, 2nd and 3rd mondays of the month.  Are they woth attending?

Congrats on your surgery!!  I wish you the very best success. I haven't attended support groups in many years, and now live in Texas.  However, I always found the Middlesex group to be well organized and worthwhile.  I attended there for quite some time.

Best,
