Brand new, confused, need new PCP

I am new here.  I am 32,  350 lbs and very uncomfortable.  I have constant of knee pain and recently got stress fractures from the weight in my right foot.  My wake up was when my 9 year old started having nightmares about me dying.  Apparently the kids on the bus told him I was so fat I would die soon.  He was devastated and didn't tell me for some time.  He is still constantly worried and even canceled a trip to stay with my sister a week.  I have been overweight since 1st grade.

I love my PCP he is great except when it comes to weight issues.  He has given me food pyramids and no other support or advice.  I have Husky A as my insurance so my options are very limited.  I need a PCP that will guide me through this and address my weight as serious of a condition as it is.  I live in the Bridgeport area and soon will be moving somewhere in CT within 30 min.

I am willing to travel to a doctor that will help me.

I know this is far for you but I go to Dr. Papernik in Glastonbury. I do know he is hard to get into but he is WLS friendly.
