Thanks!

I had dr choi for my gastric and dr zuccal for pouch stretching a couple of times! I'm so glad I chose Danbury hospital anytime I needed them they were always their never had a problem with them I just went to their refereeing dr for plastics and he's been great too. Everyone is different anyone can have issue but u need to feel comfortable with ur dr they have both been wonderful to me and I'd never go to anyone else after I meet them I just knew they were the ones! I wish u luck and just be happy it's a hard choice to make sorry for my phones spelling

Thank you! You're right...everyone I have met so far has been super nice. I like Danbury Hospital -- it helps that I only live 10 minutes away too!

I really like both doctors. I haven't decided which surgery I want to have yet -- it's a toss up between RNY and VSG. I guess when I finally make that decision I'll want to know which doc has more experience in that type of surgery.

I have my appointment with the NP on 4/24 -- I'm so excited!

Hi- I am curious what they did for pouch stretching. Can you explain? I am a year out and have noticed that I can eat more. What are the options?

I actually really did not care for Danbury hospital. It actually wasn't Dr Choi (I liked her so it was a shame) but I found her staff to be incredibly unprofessional compared to the hospital I came from. At any rate, I am really curious to hear what they did about stretching.

Thanks!

POuch  stretching that I'm talking about was because I was unable to eat or drink, my stomach was to small and every time I ate I was sick! My food was sitting in my chest because their was nowhere for Tito go. So the dr stretched my pouch so I could eat! As far as eatting to much I think we all feel that way after some time passes as long as u stick to portion control and the rules ur dr set for u the u will be fine.

Hello, I had Dr. Choi for my RNY on 2/29/12 and she was amazing, caring and her heart goes out to her patients. She was there for my pre-op, before I entered surgery and after. She's #1 in my book and I also heard she is one of the Top 10 surgeons. Good luck with your decision.

I had VSG surgery with Dr. Choi on March 5, 2012. She was great I'm very happy with my decision. I love my hospital stay and I would do it all over again.
