Morning, My name is Angela (hehe) I'm from Norwich, CT and had RNY on Jan 3rd of 2011 (best thing I have ever done for MYSELF) My doctor is and always will be Doctor McMillian (with Doctor Valin) out of New Haven CT.  I am married with 6 wonderful children an amazing step daughter and step son in law and a GREAT granddaughter Emma Marie who is 2 this month.  I have always struggled with my weight since I was younger. I was never as small as the other kids but not fat either just never as small as the model girls.  I had a lot of issues in my life that caused me to hide in food (molestation, rape, abuse and much more) I have forgiven and over come all of that and NOW to battle the final demon in my life WEIGHT.. It's almost over.. Thanks to Obesity Help, my support on here and all my family and friends.. This is going to be an amazing year.

Starting weight was 279 morning of surgery
Current weight 276.6 6 days out (still filled with fluid and gas) Down 3 lbs
Goal weight (my goal) 150
Size Goal 8
Top 12(sorry i had 12) goals for 2011

2. Lose at least half of my weight by the time 6flags opens in May
3. Size 20 by May 2011 ( right now I'm a size 28/30)
4. Size 16 by Aug 2011 (my birthday)
5. Size 12 by Christmas next year
6. Be able to walk up the stairs with no pain in my knees
7. Be able to run 1 mile on tread mil or on the street with NO pain and NO stopping to walk
8. Riding a bike again ( haven't since I was like 11)
9. Wear regular shoes (no extra support because I'm fat and my feet hurt)
10. Shop at Target/Wilmar or other name brand store for my clothes)
11. See my feet (lol)
