OK, so here I am, trying to stay about 1,000 calories a day and I'm trying to figure out how to do that and get enough protien in. HELP?! I hate shakes with a passion, so that option is out. Plus, I like my cappucino too, and that's 150 right there (of course with splenda, not sugar).

I don't know what other foods you like but lean protein like seafood and lean chicken & turkey are usually pretty low in calories. I tend to eat tuna for at least one meal a day and I love it. Its easy to make, low in calories and fat, high in protein. Good luck!

Hey Paul! I'm with you on the despising of shakes- YECH! just the though of it...ick. Anyway- there are lots of great protein bars out there that are pretty dran good with the protein/carb/sugar/calorie ratio. Take a look at EAS or the Detour line of bars. They are my lifesaver when I'm in a bind. Good luck to you! Lisa C

Paul - You can add a scoop of Unjury unflavored protein (20 grams per scoop) into the cappucino and you won't even be able to taste it. The only thing though is it can't be too hot - it has to be under 130 degrees, so if 130 degrees is okay with you, it's worth a try! Or you can add it to sugar free pudding and you won't even know it's there - it's pretty versatile! What are you eating in a typical day? Best Regards, Tammy

Hi Paul, I am pretty sure Nectar makes a coffee flavored protien shake now... you could kill two birds with one stone. ~Chrissy
