In need of some suggestions
Hey Everyone-
So, I am now 10 months out and 130 lbs down. I am losing around 6 lbs a month, though I would like to be losing more as my goal is to be between 160-180 by 12/06.
I am concerned that there are days I eat too much...though a half a sandwich seems normal, to me it seems too much.
I am slo having some breakfast issues. I am a very picky eater (how one becomes 360 lbs. being as picky as I am is beyond me). I don't eat cheese, yogurt, egg yolks, omlettes, cream cheese, cottage cheese or anything along those lines. I don't really like milk either.
Right now I am having cereal with a tiny bit of milk and strawberries in the morning. I am torn between having this or having ham. They are around the same calorie count, the ham is higher in fat but has way more protein and way less carbs. Any thoughts?
Any suggestions or ideas for breakfast would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanx
xo

Hi! I know that some people who don't like breakfast foods for whatever reason just don't eat them for breakfast. For instance, take whatever you may eat for dinner and save the leftovers for breakfast.
Otherwise if you like ham, there are some leaner versions of deli ham that you may like. And if you eat a cereal that is high in fiber and protein, low in sugar it may not be the worst thing you could eat, especially when you add the milk for extra protein. Also, Baratric Advantage sells a cereal that you can mix with water that is high in protein. Add some splenda and its yummy!
Hi Christine- Thanx for the suggestion, I really appreciate it.
I think I am just feeling out of control lately. My hours at work just increased and I feel a little overwhelmed. I feel like I am eating on the run and eating too much, but I don't know that I actually am. I need to relax this weekend coming up and just get it together, LOL.
Hi Amanda, Frankly I will have just about anything for breakfast as long as its protien. The important thing is that you have breakfast so your body is fueled and ready to go. So, have a piece of chicken, or Turkey, or anything that will fill the bill as far as protien content goes. The important thing is that you get what you need to keep your bodygoing! Take Care, Julio
