Save the Date

Hi, All! I wanted to give you some advance notice about a terrific speaker who'll be at the Hamden support group meeting on Mon., May 1st (2 wks. from Mon.). She's Terria Linn, a licensed clinical social worker who's been lapbanded and has lost over 300 lbs.! She's spoken to the Hamden group before and is excellent. I don't know what her topic will be, but whatever it is, she'll be good. The Hamden group meets on the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month (6:30 - 8 p.m.) at the Senior Center (behind the Miller Library on Dixwell Ave.). It's not affiliated with any doctor or hospital and is run by a couple of post-ops. Anyone, pre- or post-op, is welcome to attend, along with supportive significant others, if you want to bring them along. If you need directions, pls. e-mail me. Have a good weekend, Debby
