Hello everyone, I haven't posted in a while. I haven't had anything good or bad to discuss lately, UNTIL now!! When I started my new journey, I set a personal goal for myself. My surgery was Nov. 7,2005. I started out at 288 pounds and I am only 5'2", Well my goal was to be under 200 pounds in at least 6 months. Well I got on the scale this morning and WOW!! I was 199.5. I made it!! It is only by a 1/2 pound, but I did it. And in 5 months. I am so happy!! I am now a onesie!! No more twosies for me. I have not seen these numbers in years and years. At least 20 years.I feel great and have more energy than I have had in years. Sorry, but I am proud of myself and needed to shout it to the world. Thanks everyone who has helped me with myn problems in the past. Have a wonderful evening. Hugs, Sarah

Hey Sarah, Good going! Soak up the warmth of your accomplishment! You deserve it ! Lots of folks think it's all about just having the surgery and like magic, the weight comes off. We know it takes alot of work and self control to make the pounds fall off. So Good going and keep up the great work! Be Well, Julio

Sarah - Wow, your clothes must be falling off you. That's an amazing amount of weight to lose in 5 months. Congratulations! Arline

Thanks Arline, Yes my clothes fall off. I can wrap my jackets around me. I have given away some clothes to my new friend (Hi Kris ) who had her surgery right after me the same day, same doctor. She is fitting into what I have outgrown. I have lost a lot of weight, but I feel good and healthy. And I have a lot of energy and I am using it too! Hugs, Sarah
