WLS PICNIC 2006

COME ONE COME ALL FOR SOME FUN IN THE SUN. IT'S THAT TIME OF THE YEAR AGAIN. SO JOIN US AT OUR SECOND ANNUAL WLS PICNIC. LET'S ALL GET TOGETHER FOR A GREAT DAY OF FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FUN, FUN, FUN WITH LOTS FOOD AND DRINK TOO. THIS FACILITY HAS LARGE PAVILIONS, GRILLS AND A BEAUTIFUL BEACH TO SWIM AT. THERE IS A GREAT TRAIL TO WALK, A NATURE CENTER AND ALSO GRASSY AREAS TO HAVE ACTIVITIES AND RELAX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DATE: SATURDAY, JUNE 24TH PLACE: HAMMONASSET STATE PARK (MADISON CT) TIME: NOON TO WHENEVER COST: Asking for donations of $10 for rental fee for the day. ($159.00 to rent the whole day, this does not include the parking fee to enter) The reservations and payment have been made for the Pavilion and we will be at Pavilion #3 which is close to the parking lot, the beach and the restrooms and the concession stand too. I would like to thank those of you who did send me your donations towards the rental I do really appreciate it so keep sending them in if you can. We are all set to get ready for a fantastic day to spend together with our family and friends and share our stories, have fun and relax all together too. I am hoping that we have a great turnout this year. I already have so many people volunteering to help me out. This is wonderful. I love you guys. It's impossible to please everyone but the majority of people really wanted this place for our get together and the choice was made. I hope everyone will come and join us for this great event. We are going to plan a lot of fun events like last year. We hope everyone will get involved this year. BASEBALL GAMES SOFTBALL GAMES BADMITTON VOLLEYBALL FRISBEE BOCCI SACK RACES FISHING SWIMMING MUSIC MAYBE SOME DANCING SOCIALIZING RAFFLE FUN FOR ALL AGES!!! These are just some ideas I am throwing out there, we can come up with allot of fun things to do both for the children and the adults. This invitation is open to everyone's family, friends and significant others. The more the merrier. You can bring all your own supplies, food, drink, etc. Like last year we all brought various things and even shared too. There are (2) pedestal grills to cook on so you can bring charcoal or if you prefer you can bring your own portable if you have one. There are (12) picnic tables in each pavilion and there is even a concession stand in the area too. There are restroom facilities available and parking. Get the word out to everyone and let's make this a great success. This is such a great group of people and we all have so much fun together, Saturday night at the Gala was an example of how much we all enjoy each other. Let's keep this going everyone!!!!! Again all monies made on the raffle will be donated to the Foundation like our Spring Gala, Annual Walk, etc. We want to help in anyway we can. So if you would like to donate prizes, gift cards, baskets etc. it would be greatly appreciated. I will be making a very special gift basket to donate as one of the prizes too. Looking forward to seeing my team of helpers on May 13th at my house. Thanks all you who volunteered to help me out with the planning and organizing, you all know who you are!!!!!!!!!! Thanks Honey, The coughing is the worst of it, but I slept all day today. Can't wait to see you and everyone On May 13th too. You can bring Nick and the kids too if you want to. We will probably cook out and relax while planning. Love ya KimC
