Another Dance?

Hi, All! Last wk., at dinner after the Middlesex support group meeting, some of us were talking about what a great time we had at the 2nd annual WLS spring gala. Someone asked why we couldn't hold it more often than annually...why wait a whole yr.? We were thinking that maybe we could have another one in late Oct. with a Halloween/costume theme. I told Denise that I'd post a message here asking people to reply, giving their opinions as to: 1. Should we have another dance before next spring? 2. If so, when should it be? 3. If near Halloween, should we come in costume? We were thinking that we'd have it at the same place (Il Monticello, on the Meriden/Wallingford line) since that's a fairly central location and easy to get to. Besides, they give us a good deal, which helps keep the costs down, and work with us to provide choices that are WLS-friendly. In order to make it worthwhile in terms of being a decent fundraiser, and not just a fun evening that breaks even, we'd need to have at least 100 people attend, so getting your feedback will help us decide whether we should pursue this idea.
