Hi Preshus - This is such an individual taste it's tough to give recommendations. If a protein supplement is what you're after in the form of a shake my personal fave's are: - Myoplex CarbSense Ready to Drink shakes - AcheivOne Coffee Drinks - IsoPure ZeroCarb Glass Drinks (I like Alpine Punch, Blue Raspberry and Apple Melon-but there are lots of others). - Proteem (Strawberry mixed with Orange Crystal light is my favorite) If protein shakes just don't work out you can buy the unflavored protein powders (like Unjury) and add them to your foods to supplement the protein. Bottom line, shop around and try them all - it's definitely a hit and miss with protein drinks and what you might not like now, you may like down the road. Just take it slow and keep at it!! Good luck! Hugs, Carla OH Support Group Leader

Hi Preshus... I know exactly what you're going through. It took me 5 months before I found a protein drink I could stomach. I love the AchievOne Mocha Java which comes already prepared in a bottle (SkylarHaley.com). I also love the Nectar Roadside Lemonade protein powder. I use one scoop with a container of Yoplait light yogurt (like Key Lime Pie), put it in the blender with some ice and it's like a milkshake. Good luck!! Kim K.

One thing that got me through the first protein-mushy stage was ricotta cheese seasoned with garlic powder or salt, topped with hunts tomato sauce and topped with some mozzarella cheese and baked for a few minutes. It's warm, flavorful and was down-right yummy. Kinda like a noodle-less lasagana. After I could introduce hamburger, I added that to the tomato sauce and loved that as well. Good luck, Debbi

Hello My name is jessica and i had the same problem you had till i tried Nectar lemon tea protein drink! I add crystal light lemon flavor to it with tons of ice and it goes down so smooth. They have other flavors like fuzzy naval that is good to. I spent at 200 dollars on protien drinks before i found these. I had my surgery on 12/29/05 and have lost 76 pounds so far.I get my 2 pound drinks from vitalady.com for 24.99 and they last. Hope that helps. Jessica
