Insurance Wows

I am so confused, if my cardiologist says, this surgery is going to save my life how can the insurance company say NO??? I am really frustrated because initially we (my insurance agent and I) were told that if comorbidity exists that a procedure not covered could be apealed and I look at others with my insurance plan and see that it can be covered....

Jennifer, I know how you feel when I first called my insurance company (Connecticare) they told me the surgery would be covered. When I was ready to get a date for surgery the insurance company said I needed to see my PCP for 6 months before they would approve surgery. Any way a little venting from me sorry. Keep with it and don't give up the insurance company will approve you. Just stick with it. Good luck!! JEN
