WHAT A TOOL!!!

Hello all Just wanted to share my recent vacation experience with all of you. Just got back from a week at an all-inclusive resort in Mexico....all-inclusive meaning all the food and drink you want!!! Had been very anxious about the trip and in the past have put on 15-20 lbs. easily on a vacation like that, but I really tried to plan ahead this time. Not much of a drinker, so I brought crystal light on the go, drank that instead of the sugary pina coladas and walked the beach as much as I could. Still ate at the buffets, but did not fill myself the way I used to in the past. Tried to stick with proteins first....Came back home to the scale telling me I actually lost 2lbs....Wow, what a vacation! This is the first time in my life I am not depressed after a vacation! Even after a year and a half out, I am still shocked and so thankful for the choice I've made in this surgery. It has been such a rewarding experience and can't believe how far I've come... Thanks for listening

Hey Cristina, You should be very proud of yourself. That is awesome. You enjoyed your vacation but also made the right decisions in your eating patterns. Thats a great start to your steps in the weightloss journey. So glad to hear you had a great vacation, sounds like it was a wonderful place to be. Thank-you all for your wonderful words...my husband and I stayed just south of Playa Del Carmen...resort called the Barcelo, absolutely beautiful!!!!! Would definitely recommend it. Fortunately there were no signs of the hurricane, unlike the Cancun area. Cristina
