SUGAR- FREE MINTS????

I know gum is a no-no, but can we suck on sugar-free mints? I have that yucky ketone taste in my mouth, and need them. I asked Lois ,but she didn't see why not as long as I wasn't doing it in excess. Just wondering if anyone else does the mint thing.

I haven't done the sugar free mints but I have the sugar free listermint spray that I use all the time - I even walked around the hospital with that in my hand - it saved me by keeping my mouth moist and not having that gross taste in my mouth! Best Regards, Tammy

I would have been miserable w/o sugar free mints those first few months when your mouth is carrying that nasty taste all the time. I never had a problem w/ them and they worked rather nicely.

Hey Kristen, Its okay, I used the sugar free mints too during my ketosis. Thats a yukky feeling in your mouth. It won't cause anything to happen during the test. Its okay as far as I know. Good luck Hugs KimC

I love the Eclipse sugar free mints in cinnamon..they're a newer flavor and I keep them in my car for when I have that "protein" taste in my mouth. Not too many, cause the sorbitol may cause some to have loose stools. paula

Ok, so now what's this..taste in your mouth thing? and what test? (sorry new to this - prepping for surgery in 10 days - anyone have any advise? Someone posted that they won't affect the test - what is that? and sugarfree listermint spray - never heard of it, I'm going to have to look for that it sounds like - do you know where to find it?
