Creative Visualization Exercise

With each new day... I am feeling better and better.
Towanda is surfacing again and that feels good.
I wanted to share an exercise (of sorts) that I was recently given while struggling so. It was given to me by my "hypo angel" Angela.
So I thought it might be of help for others...
perhaps before surgery, during a tough time, etc.

If you want to, you can follow this little exercise:
Concentrate on the sound of your breathing. Just listen. When you zone out or your mind wanders & you realize it, gently go back to listening. Let roots grow out from your feet, deep, deep into the healing earth. Let your roots spread out in the nourishing soil. You can let the confusion, worry, fear flow right out through your roots, and the good earth will take it far away to convert to something good. When you are ready, if you'd like, you can take up the wonderful healing, peace, calm, anything you need/desire through your roots, back up into yourself.
You can close your eyes if that helps you to concentrate better. This simple exercise has helped me get grounded when my mind/heart are overflowing & overwhelmed. Maybe it would be a help to you, too.

I thought... what a wonderful way to let go of the anesthesia, pain, etc from surgery... or the stress of the day. Stuff like that.

Hiya Towanda! Glad yer feeling better! Thanks for the visualization! Will definitely be meditating more with my surgery fast approaching. Always have been one to explore all healing modalities. I'm going to be banded on the 29th. so on the 27th i'm going for a massage, on the 28th i'm going for a reiki session and now I will include this visualization! Thanks Towanda!
