Hello My WLS Family!!!
Hello all!
I have been so MIA the last month and I apologize, but life got in the way - just so you know no matter how often or not often I am on the boards, I think of all of you often and it is such a reassuring feeling knowing that I have you all for support, because I still need the support.
Anyway, life is good. I am almost 11 months out and I am down 111 pounds. I am a size 10, and it is still crazy to me everyday the blessings that this surgery has given me. I have surpassed my doctor's goal and am 6 pounds away from my own personal goal.
I have been busy. Work is crazy busy, which has been great and my after work life has been busy with the salon and I was in a show "Anything Goes" which went up and closed last weekend. It was tons of fun. I hadn't tap danced in 18 years! I have also started rehearsals for "Annie Get Your Gun" which goes up the first three weekends in May at the New Britain Reperatory Theater.
That's my story - again, think of you all often and hope everyone is well.
Love ya,
Phyllis
Hey Phyllis,
Hey sweetie, I missed you on the boards. So glad everything is well with you. Congratulations on your success, that is wonderful. I am so proud of you.
On the shows, thats great, you must be really enjoying yourself. Those are great musicals. Erin, my daughter is doing "Into The Woods Jr" in May at school. I use to do alot of shows when I was in Highschool, its so much fun. I have a very dear friend who does costumes for the Southington Players. I have seen some great shows there too.
I would love to come see you doing "Annie Get your Gun", send me a flyer on my email. I would love to come up and see you. I am so proud of you.
Take care and keep up the good work. Hope to see you at the Summer Picnic this year and of course the walk again.
Hugs
KimC
