March of Dimes April 30 for premature babies

I was wondering if anyone was interested in the March of Dimes WalkAmerica 2006 event on Sunday April 30, 2006. The resgistration is at 9am and the walking starts at 10am. It is at Ocean Beach Park in New London, and I plan on being there. Since we are not supposed to post web addresses, just e-mail me if you are interested and I will send you the web location for more information. Dave P.S. I am looking for a similar fund-raiser that allows for jogging/running and is in the Middletown area, perhaps between April and June, if anyone knows of anything.

Hi Dave..Thanks for the info. I am doing the March of Dimes walk on May 7th in downtown Hartford. Think I might also try to go to the New London walk too! Don't know of any jogging/running events coming up but I'm sure others do! Thanks again for the info. Happy St. Patrick's Day! Angie

Hi Tammy! This idea came up as a part of my Interact club. I plan on walking whether they want to do it or not. I am trying to build up my jogging so I can do a fundraiser for that too... when that happens I will look for support, financial backers, and fellow joggers. Dave
